Key Responsibilities
- Determine patients' eligibility for third-party reimbursement by verifying no alternate payer sources like Medicaid, Medicare, or other third-party insurance are present.
- Accurately and efficiently process essential data to admit new patients into the CPCDMS system.
- Complete comprehensive paperwork with precision to ensure smooth patient onboarding.
- Set initial service appointments, ensuring a seamless transition into our healthcare services once eligibility is confirmed.
- Ensure proper insurance billing through accurate coding, maximizing reimbursement opportunities.
- Respond to inquiries from prospective applicants and patients, providing clear and compassionate communication and assistance.
- Participate in all required safety education programs and annual training to stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent, providing the foundational knowledge needed for this role.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, essential for effectively communicating with and serving our diverse patient population.
- Preferred 3 - 5 years of Medical Billing experience, offering a robust background in eligibility and reimbursement processes.
- Experience with ICD-A or CPT codes is preferred, enhancing your ability to navigate insurance billing and coding efficiently.
